Every verified Welp Patreon member, including free members, is a citizen with a place in Welp Central.
Welpdom 1.1 · Founding document
The Welpdom is built by the people who participate in it.
This charter establishes the principles behind citizenship, progress and the playable world planned to open with Welpdom 1.2 in early 2027.

Welp history should be preserved
Reactions, reviews, recordings and community moments can become Records that connect the world to the work and people behind Welp Here We Are.
ARTICLE 03
Discovery begins personally; preservation becomes shared
A finder carries a recovered Record first. Depositing it in an Archive preserves it for the wider community while retaining credit for its discovery.
ARTICLE 04
Fandom creates places, not ownership
Citizens may build groups and institutions around artists, shows and stories, but nobody owns a fandom, excludes other citizens or gains control over the original creator.
ARTICLE 05
Support creates opportunity, not dominance
Patreon roles can provide meaningful benefits, while civic decisions and major projects still require community participation.
ARTICLE 06
Access follows the original Record
Public, Patreon-exclusive and Vault material must retain the access rules appropriate to its source.
ARTICLE 07
Credit follows contribution
Discoverers, archivists, builders and participants remain recorded in the history they helped create. Renown cannot be purchased, spent or transferred.
ARTICLE 08
Progress must be trustworthy
Every award and transaction has a traceable source, with privacy and security built in from the beginning.
